Jesse Percival Sylvester (died 1945, aged 65) was a member of Victoria-Columbia Lodge No. 1. He was active in the Sylvester Feed Company and other businesses in partnership with his two brothers, W.B. Sylvester and C.B. Sylvester.

His house at 116 South Turner Street in Victoria’s James Bay neighbourhood is still standing.

“SYLVESTER – On Aug. 12, 1945, at the residence, 116 South Turner Street, Jesse Percival Sylvester, aged 65 years; he leaves his wife, Katherine, at home: three sisters, Miss M. Louise Sylvester, Mrs. R. Campbell and Mrs. R. McRae, all in Victoria, also several nieces and [the rest to be added later]
