DECEASED BRETHREN

Jonathan Griffith Hands was one of the fourteen Charter members of Temple Lodge, No.33 in December 1899. He had previously been a member of Manito Lodge, No. 90 in Collingwood, Ontario.

He demitted from Temple Lodge, No.33 in 1901 and affiliated with Victoria-Columbia Lodge No. 1..

Apart from that, we do not know a lot about him. His name appears in the Voters’ List for the 1898 B.C. provincial election, which describes him as a teacher living in Duncan.
