This is a new website devoted to the many contributions Freemasons and Freemasonry have made to the history of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

It is managed by Mark Anderson, the current Historian at Vancouver & Quadra Lodge No. 2 in Victoria.

We have started adding the Historic Membership Lists of Victoria’s Masonic Lodges.

We have also started adding pages about Buildings Associated With Freemasons In Greater Victoria. Here is an example:

550-554 Yates Street was originally designed and built in 1883 by John Teague, member of Victoria-Columbia Lodge No. 1. John Teague also designed and built the western addition to the building in 1888. [photo: Vancouver & Quadra Lodge No. 2 Historian]
